Venue and Accommodation

We’re getting married at Higher Holcombe near Ottery St Mary. There’s loads of green space and best of all no curfew!

N.B – You may be required to walk on grass to get to the ceremony so please take this into account when deciding which shoes to wear! (Stilettos not recommended!)

Where to Stay?

Glamping Tents

There are 5 white canvas Lotus Belle tents that are 6m in diameter and are a special design that’s a cross between a yurt and a bell tent and are lined for extra warmth.

Decorated with styles from around the world as well as coir matting and rugs.

2 tents (each one with 5 single beds) are in the paddock facing the Old Dairy. These are £175 per tent.

3 tents (each with a double bed and 2 singles) are on the fringes of the woodland. These are £150 per tent.

The venue has advised that you can fit up to a maximum of 8 people in each tent, so you’re welcome to squeeze extra people in providing they bring their own matresses/inflatable matresses and bedding. Cosy!

All beds are made up with a cotton bottom sheet and a comfy pillow – bring your own sleeping bags and towels.  The venue can supply duvets / covers / towels for an additional £15 per person for the night.

Glampers use the 2 toilets and 2 wet room showers in the Old Dairy as well as the kitchen and dining facilities.

Let us know if you want more information about these.

Overflow Camping

Once all the Glamping tents have all been booked, we can also have people camp in their own tents in the overflow camping field. Let us know if you’re planning to camp. There will be a daily charge of £10 per person for overflow campers.
